OK Go, the Chicago band with the quirky style, has blended style and rock to carve a niche within alternative rock. Although they have been around since 1998, the careful and crafty art-rock group has only released three albums, albeit three critically acclaimed albums. OK Go tour dates have been scheduled to promote their latest release, Of The Blue Colour of The Sky, which was released in 2010. Frontman, Damian Kulash, and bassist Tim Nordwind, met when they were eleven years-old at summer camp. They stayed in touch throughout the years and formed OK Go in 1998. They released their self-titled debut in 2002 and were an immediate hit in the UK. The album contained the hit "Get Over It", which was featured on the video game Madden NFL 2003. OK Go toured relentlessly to promote their debut while working on material for the follow-up. They released their sophomore set, Oh No, in 2005. The album featured the hit singles "A Million Ways" and "Here It Goes Again". In 2007, OK Go was awarded the Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video for the "Here it Goes Again" clip which featured the band-members performing an elaborately choreographed treadmill dance scene. OK Go toured with Panic! at the Disco throughout 2006 and with Snow Patrol during 2007.
They returned in 2010 with Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, which charted at #40 on the Billboard 200, their highest charting album to-date. OK Go embarked on a 2010 tour to promote the disc and have periodic tour dates scheduled this 2011. It has also been announced that OK Go will be selling USB flash drives of their live performances as keepsakes for loyal fans.
