This five-piece country band formed in Nashville with strong Virginia roots. Members Matt Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, and Brad Tursi had previously written music for country superstars like Dierks Bentley, The Band Perry, Chris Young, Kenny Chesney, Tyler Farr, and NBC's Nashville. Old Dominion's self-titled, debut EP produced the hit single, "Shut Me Up".
